Thermoformed blister packaging works by forming a clear thermoplastic sheet over a precision mould to create a cavity that exactly mirrors the profile of the product. The result is a tight, professional fit that prevents product movement on shelf, eliminates rattle, and presents the product in its best orientation to the consumer.

Vacform box inserts serve a secondary packaging function — nestled inside an outer carton, they hold the product securely, prevent damage in transit, and create a premium unboxing experience. Our inserts are produced to exact dimensional tolerances from client-supplied product samples, technical drawings, or CAD files.

Lovell has supplied blister and insert packaging to South African retail brands for over 50 years. Our in-house tooling library contains moulds for many common retail formats, which can eliminate tooling costs for standard-dimension requirements.
