Lovell Industries manufactures thermoformed collation and transportation trays for FMCG brands, contract packers, and supply chain operators across South Africa. Our transportation tray range includes multi-cavity collation trays that organise individual products into retail-ready configurations, and roll-on deodorant collation trays designed for the personal care supply chain. All trays are produced at our Bronkhorstspruit facility from rigid thermoplastic materials suited to the handling, stacking, and transport demands of the FMCG distribution environment.

Collation trays serve a critical role in the FMCG supply chain — they consolidate individual SKUs into manageable handling units that reduce pick-and-pack time, protect products from contact damage during palletisation and transport, and arrive at retail in a shelf-ready format that reduces replenishment time for store operations teams.

Our roll-on deodorant collation trays are designed for the specific profile and weight of roll-on format personal care products. The tray cavity is dimensioned to hold each unit upright and prevent the lateral movement that causes label damage and product deformation in conventional loose-pack distribution.

For other product categories requiring collation tray solutions, our design team develops custom cavity configurations from product samples or technical dimensions. Lovell’s in-house extrusion and tooling capability allows us to produce transportation trays compatible with automated pick-and-place systems.
