Medical blister packaging serves a dual function — protecting the device or pharmaceutical product from physical damage and environmental contamination, and providing an auditable primary packaging record that supports regulatory compliance and post-market surveillance requirements.

Our thermoformed medical blister packs and clamshells are produced to dimensional specifications derived from client-supplied device drawings, product samples, or CAD files. Cavity dimensions are held to tight tolerances to ensure a secure product fit that eliminates movement within the blister and prevents product damage during sterilisation, distribution, and storage.

Medical clamshell formats support the growing use of visible, reusable medical packaging in clinical and laboratory environments. All medical blister and clamshell production at Lovell is carried out with full material and batch records, supporting the documentation requirements of ISO 11607 sterile barrier system qualification processes.
